Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 hot dogs about 1 pound

Equipment

  • 1 large baking sheet

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  4. Place a hot dog along the wide end of each triangle and roll it up toward the point.
  5. Arrange the rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the dough is puffed and golden brown.

Notes

For neater rolls, keep the crescent dough chilled until you are ready to use it. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days; freezer-friendly, though the dough may soften after thawing. Turkey hot dogs can be used as a lighter alternative.
